What a nice movie. It's a prequel of Underworld 1. Watching this movie made me understand the whole story. According to the movie, lycans were vampire slaves and the first lycan born was lucian, the half human half werewolf. He was in love with viktor's daughter, sonja. Sonja's father viktor was the leader of the aristocratic vampire clan.
Lucian here was a blacksmith and he made weapons for the vampires. The pointless thing was that lucian doesn't have any freedom.And it was forbidden according to the laws of vampires that they shouldn't involved to any activities with lycans. What happened was that sonja was impregnated. Viktor knew and he was afraid that sonja will be raising a hybrid lycan-vampire child. Sonja was brought to council and was condemned by his own father. She was punished and burned alive while lucian was watching. This really made lucian very mad. And by that, lucians followers by calling them, they attacked the place where viktor lives. It was shown in the movie that lucian killed viktor, but it's not his gaurantee that the ruler was really killed.
To rate this movie from 1 - 5 , if 5 is the highest, I will give a rate which is 4.5. Even the movie is nice but still, there are some areas of the movie which is not further eloborated. I was expecting of William and Marcus to be on that movie. I was also expecting if how corvinus made his children.
